This is one more excellent spot for fishing. We love the attractive views of the mountains and river at 2nd Dam. Wind Cave is a lovely hike, but it is much longer and an uphill climb, so it may not be an ideal option for little kids. The cave, which is even more of an open archway, is amazing though, and a nice pleasant spot to rest after the hike.
We love this pleasant stop in Logan Canyon. Rick's Spring is a short stop along the canyon road.

One is located under the springtime and you need to scuba dive to see it, but the other is a small little cave to the left of the springtime. One of our favorite places to go to in Logan is Tony Grove.
This lake is located around 7 miles from the primary canyon road, but definitely worth the journey. The wildflowers in the center of July are beautiful. Limber Pine Trail is an easy trail to this enormous tree. It is really regarding 7 trees that grew together, but still impressive. The trail is gorgeous and even has a Bear Lake overlook.
One of the reasons we travel this route so often is to visit Bear Lake. If you make it to Limber Pine Pathway, you are just a few minutes from brilliant blue Bear Lake.
Make sure to visit Logan National Scenic Byway, especially when loss colors are on show. At the route summit, you can enjoy an amazing view of aquamarine Bear Lake.
